Check the Walgreens flyer for sales, Register Rewards
and
weekly ads. Then, to save even more find manufacturer coupons.
A good source is Sunday's newspaper coupon inserts. Every week
has Smart Source and Red Plum, and once a month there's a Procter & Gamble insert.
You can additionally send for coupon books off of some manufacturer
websites and of course, internet coupons.
What are Register Rewards you ask? Basically, they are "Walgreens cash" that are
printed on the end of
your sales receipts.
You receive these wonderful wonderful monies when you purchase certain
items. Luckily, the items are easily identifiable in both the
store and the Walgreens flyer. These purchases create so many
Register Rewards.
Now the time-consuming part, match the weekly sales with your coupons.
Or take the easy road and use The Coupon Crate to do the matching for
you! Either way, your best price (and usually free) are the
products on sale, promotion, or offer Register Rewards.
Don't forget the products that are free after
rebate. Fill out the rebate form and select to receive your rebate on a Walgreens gift card.
By choosing the Walgreens gift card you will receive an additional 10% back.
This extra percentage is not included if you receive a check.
