Check the Target flyer for sales and weekly ads. Then, to save even more find manufacturer coupons.  A good source is Sunday's newspaper coupon inserts.  Every week has Smart Source and Red Plum, and once a month there's a Procter & Gamble insert.  You can additionally send for coupon books off of some manufacturer websites and of course, internet coupons.

Now the time-consuming part, match the weekly sales with your coupons.  Or take the easy road and use The Coupon Crate to do the matching for you!  Either way, your best price (and usually free) are the products on sale, clearance, or promotion.

Some additional money savers:

End caps - these sale islands are found at the end of aisles and hold all the sale and clearance merchandise.

Clearance aisles - dedicated to marked down themed items, especially after a holiday.

Red clearance price stickers - these stickers can be found in every Target department for discounted items.

50- to 75-percent-off rack in the clothing section.

Out-of-the-box item - specifically furniture and electronics that served as floor samples, or returned marked down for more than half off.

Dollar bins- these are usually located near the store entrance range from $1 to $5.
