How to Shop at Aldi to get the Most Savings

Although you cannot use coupons at Aldis, I can give you some tips for an enjoyable shopping experience.

Don't go into Aldi's expecting that this is a brand-name warehouse store, because they don't carry many name brands. However, in my opinion, most of Aldis brands are comparable to name brands, which is nice because they are even cheaper than the name brand with coupons. Take into consideration that some items are NOT comparable (depending on your preferences). For example, I love the breads, eggs, jelly and general snacks. However, I dislike their the salad dressings, most cheeses and pop. You will have to try and see what you think.

Make sure you have a quarter. In order to get a cart you have to place a quarter in the slot on the cart so it can be released from the other carts. When you return the cart, you will get your quarter back.

You have to bag your own groceries, but this means lower grocery prices for you. You can bring your own bags, pay 10 cents to buy a bag, or use boxes found throughout the store at no charge.
