Wow! If you had
asked me two years ago where I saw myself, this would not have been a
thought. My how times have changed!
My name is Patty and I live in Oak Lawn, Illinois. I graduated from
John Marshall Law School in the spring of 2004 and worked downtown at a
large national law firm until I went on disability in January of 2008.
When I was 15 I was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes and had lived relatively
problem free for 25 years (Go ahead - do the math people). Then in
January everything spiraled completely out of control. I really
thought my life was over - and it was....but just the life I knew. And
looking back, this life is sooooo much better! I have time to spend
with my family and nothing is more important.
However, because of the obvious cut back in funds, I have found a way to
stretch every dollar we spend shopping. I look at couponing as more of
a game, and I love to win! I knew that I had achieved "professional"
couponing, the first time my 15 year-old son looked like he would rather
have a fork in the head than go shopping with me. Very different from
when we just threw everything in the cart with no list, no coupons, no
checking prices.....WHAT WAS I THINKING!
Since I have the time and ambition to provide weekly match-ups between
grocery and drug stores sales with coupons, I would love to share it with
you! I hope you come back often!
